Lupososhi District is located 58Kms west of Luwingu District. The District Shares boundaries seven (07) Districts namely Chipili, Mansa, Kawambwa, Chifunabuli, Samfya of Luapula Province and Luwingu and Chilubi of Northern Province. The District is one of the newly created Districts and is about 223Km from Kasama, The Provincial Capital of the Northern Province. The district has an estimated population of about 77 891 according to the Zamstats projections of 2019.
