Lupososhi District is located 58Kms west of Luwingu District. The District Shares boundaries with seven (07) Districts namely Chipili, Mansa, Kawambwa, Chifunabuli, Samfya of Luapula Province, Luwingu and Chilubi of Northern Province. It is one of the newly created Districts and is 223Km from Kasama, The Provincial Capital of the Northern Province. The district has an estimated population of about 77 891 according to the Zamstats projections of 2019.
